Catamaran trip part 2


After lunch in a small restuarant which looked down on the town of Soufriere with a wonderful view of the Pitons, we set of to see the volcano and sulphur springs.



Although the volcano last erupted in the seventeen hundreds it certainly didn't look dormant as it is surrounded by hot sulphur springs and the steam gives it a feeling of being about to erupt. We were lucky the day we visited as the wind blew the sulphur away from us, we were told some days the smell is really bad.
